Abreu Boatworks is a wooden boat building business located on the scenic Eastern Shore of Maryland. Owner and shipwright Andrew Abreu specializes in wooden boat restoration, repairs, new builds and 3D design. Each project at Abreu Boatworks is given individual planning and attention, to ensure that your needs for your vessel are fully and exceedingly met.

Woodworking has been my passion since a very young age. My first job experience came through building high end, one-off pieces for various homes and estates. I went on to hone my craft at The Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design, in Kennebunkport, Maine. As a graduate from the Cruising Boat Program, I was able to expand my woodworking skills to the water. After gaining some experience in the field of boat building, I went on to open Abreu Boatworks. As a shipwright and craftsman, I take pride in the entire process, from design to finish. I am passionate about using traditional woodworking techniques and tools to carry on the age old traditions of craftsmanship. I enjoy taking a client's vision and bringing it to life, with attention to the small details. I look forward to hearing from you and if you're in the area, please stop by! The coffee is always hot!
